To our valued clients,

We are writing to let you know that the law firm of Polidori, Franklin, Monahan & Beattie, LLC remains fully operational as the impact of this public health situation continues to affect our community and our courts.

At the present time, our physical office is open and our staff is staggered, with some employees working in the morning and others working in the afternoon.  All staff remains available by telephone and e-mail throughout the day, and remains committed to providing you with full services.  We assure you that in the event our physical office must close, our virtual offices will be fully operational.

Please, if you are sick or have been exposed to anyone who is sick, transform your appointment into a telephone or video conference.  We will do the same to ensure your safety.  If you have any concerns at all, please do not hesitate to call or email and we can discuss your concerns.

All of our clients are people that we truly care about and we want you to know that our firm is committed to your representation as we navigate the recent and ongoing changes in our justice system. We are dialed in to the breaking news and developments associated with each judicial district and we are prepared to adapt as needed to serve your interests. Polidori, Franklin, Monahan, Beattie, and Simpson Selected to 2020 Colorado Super Lawyers

Congratulations to Gary Polidori, Peter Franklin, Lesleigh Monahan, Robin Beattie, and Natalie Simpson for being selected to the 2020 Colorado Super Lawyers list. The Colorado Super Lawyers is a selection process starting with a nomination by a peer attorney, validated with third-party research, then reviewed by other attorneys. Only 5% of attorneys practicing in Colorado are selected to receive this distinction. Mr. Polidori, Mr. Franklin and Ms. Monahan have received this honor consecutively since Colorado Super Lawyer’s conception in 2006. Ms. Monahan was also named to the Top 50: 2020 Women Colorado Super Lawyers List. Additionally, Hannah Westmont has been selected to the 2020 Colorado Rising Stars list. Ms. Westmont also received this distinction in 2018 and 2019. Each year, no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.

Natalie Simpson Joins Polidori Franklin Monahan & Beattie, LLC

Polidori Franklin Monahan & Beattie, LLC is pleased to announce that Natalie Simpson has joined the firm as an Attorney.  Ms. Simpson’s practice will focus exclusively on family law.  Ms. Simpson comes to the firm with over a decade of family law experience.

Ms. Simpson has been listed as a Rising Star in the 2016 through 2019 publication of Super Lawyers Magazine.  She also holds an Avvo “Superb” rating by the online lawyer directory and is recognized in family law by Best Lawyers in America.

Ms. Simpson handles complex domestic relations matters including high-conflict custody cases and complex financial disputes.  She approaches each case with an eye towards resolution in order to help her clients navigate the difficult emotional complexities they face in their litigation matters.

Robin Beattie and Hannah Westmont gave a continuing legal education presentation on the topic of enforcing separation agreements and parenting plans at the Jefferson County Courthouse on December 10, 2019 alongside Magistrate Fitzgerald and Magistrate Moultrie. This lunch-time program provided Jefferson and Gilpin County family law attorneys with information on how to enforce an order without filing a contempt action.

Robin Beattie of Polidori, Franklin, Monahan & Beattie, LLC moderated a judicial panel discussion with David Lamb at the October Family Law Section Lunch and CLE.  The judicial officers discussed various ways to introduce children’s out of court statements into evidence.  Topics included child hearsay, in camera interviews, statements made to Child and Family Investigators and Parental Responsibilities Evaluators, and more.

Congratulations to Hannah Jannicelli Westmont, the winner of the 2019 George Holley Young Lawyer Award. This annual award is bestowed upon a member of the First JD Bar Association, under the age of 37 or in practice less than 5 years, who is recognized for his or her active participation with the Bar, the community and in the practice of law. This award honors an outstanding young lawyer who outwardly demonstrates their commitment to the legal profession and community service. Mrs. Westmont was presented with her award on September 14, 2019 at the 2019 First Judicial District Bar Association Awards.
